Mr. Curtin began his career in 1976 as an associate in a law firm in Syracuse, New York.\u00a0 From 1979-86, he was General Counsel for Community Technology, Inc. (a regional real estate development company) and subsequently from 1986-90 he was Assistant General Counsel for Fays, Inc. (a Fortune 500 Chain Pharmacy Company).\u00a0 Mr. Curtin joined the Law Office of C. Daniel Shulman in 1990 and became a partner of Shulman Curtin & Grundner, P.C. in 1992.\u00a0 In October of 2013, he formed the firm of Curtin & DeJoseph, P.C., now Curtin Law Firm, P.C in which he is a partner.His areas of concentration are residential and commercial real estate, inclusive of land development, zoning, condominium offerings, homeowners associations, commercial leasing and financing and he works with many local developers in these areas.\u00a0 Some of his clients are Westlake Development, LLC, Kimbrook Village Square Partnership, Court Street Companies, Stringer Development, Air Innovations, Inc., FAHS Construction and Oneida Savings Bank, Community Bank N.A. He has also represented clients before many Municipal Planning and Zoning Boards of Appeal.\u00a0 He is currently the attorney for the Town of Camillus Planning Board and Formerly Special Counsel to the City of Syracuse Common Council as well as special counsel to the Town of Cape Vincent. \u00a0Mr. Curtin is a member of \u00a0the New York State, Onondaga County, Oneida County and Madison County Bar Associations.\u00a0 He has served on the Boards of numerous organizations including Hospice of Central New York, Hospice Foundation, Huntington Family Center Inc., Huntington Foundation, Madison Environmental Support Alliance, Inc., New York Military Academy where he was the President of the Board of Trustees, Erie Canal Museum and the Cazenovia Advisory Conservation Commission.\u00a0 He is the former Chancellor of the Episcopal Diocese of Central New York.\u00a0 He was also an Adjunct Professor at SUNY ESF teaching a Land Use and Development course.<\/p>\n

Mr. Curtin is admitted to practice before all Courts in New York State, as well as the U.S. District Court in both the Northern and Southern District of New York.<\/p>\n
